世界各地の土地や素材を「惑星発見器」というレンズを通して眺めるアートブックマガジン第2号。素材と時間の層が高密度に重なり合う都市・台北をフィールドに、路面、壁、構造物など街の表面を惑星のスケールで捉え直します。数センチの素材も、見方の尺度を変えれば、巨大な地形をもつひとつの惑星として立ち現れる。本書は、台北の風景を記録するのではなく、都市の表面と惑星のあいだを行き来する〈スケールの体験〉を記録した一冊です。

The second issue of an art book magazine that explores landscapes and materials from around the world through the “PLANET LENS,” a viewing device that transforms the scale of perception.

Set in Taipei, a city where layers of material and time densely overlap, this issue reimagines the surfaces of streets, walls, and urban structures at a planetary scale. A material only a few centimeters across can emerge as an entire planet with vast, unfamiliar terrain simply by shifting the scale through which we see it.

Rather than documenting the cityscape of Taipei itself, this book records an experience of scale—moving back and forth between the surfaces of the city and the landscapes of imaginary planets.
