小惑星とジャガイモ｜Asteroid Potato

山口・福岡に展開する眼鏡店・ポテトメガネのTシャツのプロトタイプをデザインしました。ジャガイモと小惑星の類似性に着目し、実際のジャガイモと、ジャガイモにカモフラージュした小惑星を混ぜこぜにしたグラフィックを考案し、様々な図案を検証しました。その結果、メガネのコンテクストでもある「視力検査」を取り入れたデザインを採用、先行生産を行いました。

We designed a prototype T-shirt for Potato Megane, an eyewear store with locations in Yamaguchi and Fukuoka. Inspired by the visual similarity between potatoes and asteroids, we developed a series of graphics that blend real potatoes with asteroids disguised as potatoes. Through multiple design trials, we explored various visual directions. Ultimately, we selected a design that incorporates the concept of a vision test—an element closely tied to the context of eyewear—and moved forward with a small-scale production.
