We held a Planet Lens workshop as part of SHIGOTABI, an exploratory program that uncovers the potential of local communities through collaborations with creators from various fields, under the concept of “A Thinker’s Journey.”
Fuji-Yoshida City, located at the foot of Mount Fuji, is home to the Shimoyoshida area, which once thrived in the textile industry. This area, known as “Nishiura”, still retains old-fashioned signage and textures. In this workshop, participants used the Planet Lens to collect planets from different spots in the Nishiura area and shared their discoveries. At the end of the session, we created postcards using Risograph printing.
「考える人の、旅。」をコンセプトに、さまざまな領域のクリエイターとコラボレーションして、地域の可能性を発掘する探究型プログラム「SHIGOTABI」にて惑星発見器によるワークショップを開催しました。
富士山の麓に位置する富士吉田市には、かつて繊維産業で栄えた下吉田エリアは「西裏（にしうら）」と言われる昔ながらの看板やテクスチャーが残っています。本ワークショップでは惑星発見器を用いて西裏エリア各地で惑星を採集し、採集した惑星を共有しました。また、最後にリソグラフ印刷によるポストカードを作成しました。
