We designed the poster and flyer format for the concert event “Music Collection Series,” which is regularly held at Ajisai-Plaza, a cultural facility in Yokohama. Do overlapping lines create harmony in our vision, or are we conditioned to find harmony in overlapping lines? Just as a musical “staff” exists, the concept of lines as symbols representing timelines or musical scales is etched in our eyes and memories. We expressed the harmony inherent in music through the delicate overlapping of musical notation lines, creating a visual harmony.
横浜市瀬谷区民文化センターあじさいプラザで、定期的に開催されるコンサートイベント「Music Collection Series」のポスター＆フライヤーのフォーマットをデザインしました。各回それぞれ異なる音楽記号をグラフィカルに表現しています。線が重なるから私たちの視覚が調和が生まれるのか、線の重なりに調和を見出すようにできているのか？五「線」譜があるように、線という概念はタイムラインや音階を示す記号として、私たちの目と記憶に刻まれています。音楽記号の線の繊細な重なりが生みだす視覚的調和によって、音楽の持つハーモニーを表現しました。
