We designed the poster and flyer format for the regular rakugo event “Ajipla-tei,” held at Ajisai-Plaza, a cultural facility in Yokohama. There are two formats: one for the annual special edition and one for the regular edition held twice a year.
For the special edition, we aimed to balance quality and casualness by incorporating contemporary expressions with traditional Japanese motifs. The regular edition, on the other hand, features a manga-style panel layout with vibrant colors, aiming for a catchy and edgy design. To reduce the impression of text-heavy content, we embedded performance information within speech bubbles, making it part of the illustration. Additionally, we incorporated Japanese patterns into the panels, ensuring it “just barely looks like a rakugo flyer.”
横浜市瀬谷区民文化センターあじさいプラザで、開催される落語会「あじぷら亭」のフライヤーのフォーマットをデザインしました。
年１回のスペシャルエディションと、年２回の通常エディションの2種類のフォーマットを用意しています。 スペシャルエディションでは、コンテンポラリーな表現と和モチーフを入れながら、上質さとカジュアルさの両立を目指しました。 通常版は漫画のコマ割りというポピュラーなフォーマットかつ、鮮やかな色彩によって、キャッチーさ・尖ったデザインを志向しました。吹き出しの中に公演情報を入れ込み、絵の一部にすることで、文字の多い印象を軽減。コマの中に和文様を入れ、「ギリギリ寄席のチラシに見える」ように設計しました。
